Great care is taken to keep all bait alive and healthy. All rods and reels are routinely maintained using high quality fluorocarbon P-Line & Seaguar. Trolling is usually the preferred method by electric trolling motor, (NO down-riggers), however, certain times of the year may call for other methods. Everything is set up by your captain, then it's up to you when a rod goes down! Several medium-heavy casting rods are at hand in the case of schooling stripers hitting shad at the surface, or for bouncing artificial while down-rodding live bait. Bottom fishing proves effective early season and often produces walleye, smallmouth and catfish as well as stripers. Your captain communicates and works with other guides constantly to help aid in the quest for trophy stripers.
