The biggest fish I have ever caught have been on my custom built lures. Why? Because many game fish are territorial, meaning that the biggest fish get the best hiding places. The problem is that the same cover and structure that attracts the most fish, and the biggest fish, also causes you to lose a lot of lures to snags. However, if you really want to catch more fish, and bigger fish, you have to sacrifice some lures...that's just the cost of going after the big ones. The kit comes with instructions, but you can also view my lure building seminars at BuildFishingLures.com. The kit contains a two-piece, patent pending, rubber mold in to which you pour a mixed resin consisting of Part A and Part B (see photo). The transparent lip and eyelets are fitted into the mold before pouring in the specially formulated casting resin. After the resin has hardened (about 10 min.) separate the rubber mold, remove the flashings from the crank bait body, and select which self-adhesive decals to put on (the kit contains 228 self-adhesive decals). Putting hooks on is a snap using my patent pending easy-to-use split rings with an extension that breaks off at the notch (see pictures). Also, these lures can be customized to vary in action, running depth and even density (floating, sinking or suspending). Want more details?
